Thank You for visiting our website. The North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents (NAAWS) is dedicated to helping Correctional Administrators everywhere through training, information sharing, advocacy, and networking.
We had a highly successful conference in Raleigh, North Carolina! Great presentations, great Warden of the Year Banquet, and great networking.
Ohio threw out the challenge to all to try and match their record conference attendee numbers from Columbus last year and North Carolina met and exceeded that challenge, once again setting record numbers. Thank you North Carolina Adult Department of Corrections! We will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan April 14-17 next year and the Michigan folks are very excited to host us.
Facility staffing continues to be a major issue everywhere. If you have had success in hiring and retaining staff, and would like to share in how you accomplished it please let us know.
